Influences

Okay, I've processed all the pending Influences that were sitting in my Inbox. And I apologize profusely for the delay. Things have been really hectic here.

Still, that's no excuse and I intend to make sure delays like this never happen again.

However, to make sure that the system runs more efficiently, I have to put the Influence game on hiatus for about a month. You're not losing your Influences and you can still use them for specific actions in-game by going through your game ST as usual. But I need some Influence downtime to come up with a better system.

When the Influence game picks back up, I hope for it to be more efficient, more player-friendly and not quite so Tony-dependent so that it doesn't grind to a complete halt if I get busy.

If all goes as planned, Influence should resume under the new system by the beginning of May.

Festivo dello Estinto

Okay, I'd like to make this a repeat of last year. I really would. Last year, despite all the work it was, was also a lot of fun. And I know everyone enjoyed a full week of back-to-back activities for their Sabbat.

But, I don't think I can do that this year. I'm swamped with work as it is, and I don't think I can make time for a full week of activities like last year.

However, there will still be a Festivo dello Estinto. I'm not going to just forget one of the big Sabbat holidays. So, while it may still technically be a week late, consider Festivo to be on. The Archbishop is opening festivities now.

There won't be an official opening ceremony like last year, but for the next week, just turn loose and have fun with your Sabbat. It's the Sabbat Mardi Gras, so make a party out of it.

Next Monday, at 7pm CST, I'll run the closing ceremonies for the Festivo. This night will be mandatory so if you can't make it OOC, send me a PM to make sure your character can make it IC.

OK This is the only way I know to let everyone know that they should all see it. As of this coming Thursday I will now be working the overnight shift so my RP time will be much more limited. Anything I play or run will be on my days off from now on. Hope you all understand and thank you.

Shift in STdom

Hey folks, I know I haven't been around as of late that's mostly due to life and work and being burned out and such. After long hard consideration and some interview processies.. I have decided to give the full mantle of HST Garou to Rustinator (Aka Rusty) Now I am still going to remain as Admin, I simply need to take some of this off my plate. And the Garou game is too big for me to manage on my lonesome at the moment. Please give Rusty the best and what you would give me! Hopefully I should be around to run some plots in time.

4.1 earthquake shakes North Los Angeles, San Fernando areas

An otherwise quiet weekday morning in Los Angeles was interrupted today by an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.1.

The quake, which rumbled at 10:09 a.m., was centered six miles west/northwest of Downtown Los Angeles and 11 miles South of San Fernando City Hall, according to the USGS Web site. Early analysis by seismologists at the USGS indicate the quake centered on a previously undiscovered fault in the Hollywood Hills, at a depth of 3 miles. Some minor damage has been reported from Bel Air and the Los Angeles Zoo, but no people (or animals) were injured in the shake.
